Patience. calm. Rules

I'm bringing back my concept of rules.

One thing I would advise to anyone is to build ‘patience’. I Am not starting over what amma has told me about patience and how important it is. It always helps. Never it doesn’t. Here is one rule I have made for myself. Wait, what is a rule? It's just a rule and you gotta follow it. If not,....? I will vaporise. I have made this rule, “Whenever i will fill a water bottle, i will fill it fully.”, [unless there is some situation or scarcity]. If i want to have a lot of patience that means i need to have patience to fill a water bottle completely. Its like if you have to walk 10 kms that means you should be able to walk 2. Its not that tough to wait till the bottle is completely full. We often fill in how much we want for the moment and leave the rest empty. Hmm, I would like to change that for myself. So here it is, choose a specific task in the day which can build your patience. I choose this for myself. What's yours? I realised it helps us in almost every moment. Being a visual person i do spend a lot of time looking at things, absorbing them, and one goes into quite deep depth when he waits, and looks. Pause.

I Realised it is important for one to give oneself ‘a’ 30 minutes before sleeping to sit, preferable under the stars looking into infinity and just thinking of what has happened in the day. I have been having this fear of not being able to remember things. Here i am today with a trick to combat and build oneself, this is just a little conscious 30 minutes. Stare at stars, draw shapes, join twinkling dots, and just think about the day, try to identify the new people you met, bits of conversations you had. It brings one together, it brings the thoughts and gives you the strength to streamline them. Our mind’s biology is more than what we think.
