This is a learning artefact that helps us understand the field using objects and materials found on the field. These objects can be conversation starters, story carriers or a book themselves.

An object found in a place talks about the field’s culture, belief systems, daily routine, change in time, geography and history. The template can be distributed among the team who are going to different places. Printouts of the template are put in Ziplock bags. Collaboration with commoners in the field allows one to collect local knowledge and local perspectives

Each material when picked by someone will have an interpretation behind understanding it. These perspectives show how the person looks at the field and what sense he/she/they make for themselves opening up varied perspectives. Information can be collected from commoners present on the field.
